Do the work for 90 days. Or get your fee back, less $750.
We agree on the one operating number that needs to improve and the exact movement required. Follow the written plan and log your work for 90 days. If you meet the execution requirements and the number still does not make the agreed move, you get your engagement fee back, less the fixed $750 delivery cost stated before you sign.
The 90-Day Execution Guarantee
Consulting fails for one reason: the plan gets read and never run. So the guarantee cuts both ways. Ember Ops brings the diagnosis, the plan, and a clear number to reach. You bring 90 days of execution, written down. If you meet the requirements and the number does not make the agreed move, you get your engagement fee back, less the fixed $750 delivery cost.
What qualifies
- The Floor-Up Audit
- The 90-Day Rebuild
Fixed-scope, one-off engagements with a defined start and finish.
- The Operator’s Corner
The Full Chain and The Operator’s Corner include ongoing side-by-side advisory work with Ember Ops, so they aren't covered.
The rules
The clock starts two days after kickoff
Day 1 begins two full days after your written audit is delivered and your 90-day plan is formally opened in the portal. Those two days are yours to read the findings, brief your team, and set up, so nothing counts against you before you are genuinely ready to execute.
One entry a day, for 90 days
Life happens — you're allowed up to 5 missed days. Miss a sixth and the guarantee lapses.
Every entry records four things
What the plan was, the goal number for the day, how you actually implemented it, and the end result.
The tracked number is agreed up front
At kickoff we put the weakest link in writing — food cost, labor, or whatever the audit surfaced — along with your baseline and target.
Claim within 14 days of day 90
Email Ember Ops after day 90. The final reviewer applies the written arithmetic test, and a qualified refund is returned to the original payment method under the signed agreement.
What comes back, exactly
A qualified claim refunds the full fee you paid for the engagement, less one fixed amount: $750. That $750 covers the travel to your restaurant, the on-site walkthrough itself, and the written audit, SOPs, and training materials produced for you — work already performed and materials that remain yours to use, whether or not the number moved. It is the only amount ever withheld, it never rises, and no other fee, percentage, or expense is deducted.
Four boxes a day, in your portal.
At kickoff your assigned Ember Ops operator opens your 90-day tracker with the number we're chasing, your baseline, and your target. Day 1 is dated two full days after your written audit is delivered and the plan is opened, so you have time to read the findings and brief your team before anything counts. From then on you sign in and fill out one short entry a day. It takes two minutes and it's the whole proof of work.
What you set out to do that day to move the number.
The target you were aiming at — food %, labor %, whatever we agreed.
What actually happened on the floor: who ran it, what changed.
The number you finished the day with, plus anything that got in the way.
Making a claim
Within 14 days of day 90, email Ember Ops at noah@thedragonsnesttrades.com. The final reviewer reads the full log, applies the written arithmetic test, and answers within a week. A qualified refund returns the engagement fee to the original payment method, less the fixed $750 delivery cost, and you keep the SOPs and training.
Written before you begin
Your signed agreement states the exact refund calculation and any applicable delivery costs before the engagement begins. It also states how far your number must move and how that movement is calculated from your daily entries, so the decision is arithmetic—not opinion.
